Murray River Walk

1415 Murtho Road , Murtho, SA 5340

Description

Discover the Murray River on a 4 day, 3 night guided walking and river cruising journey that departs from Renmark, South Australia, in the cooler months between May and September.

Enjoy easy walking during the day and become immersed in a landscape that reveals a colourful history and a new environmental stewardship. You'll encounter wildlife and waterbirds along the river, creeks and old oxbow lagoons that meander through ancient redgum forests.

Accommodation is provided on a comfortable houseboat with hot showers and a top deck spa. Nightly guides prepare three course dinners showcasing locally produced wines and native ingredients.

MRW is committed to low impact, nature based tourism and environmental education operating in a high value natural area of the Murray River within the internationally significant Riverland Ramsar site.
